Isha is a PhD student at the University of Portsmouth where she is currently working on an Intergenerational study into the attitudes and behaviours towards girls amongst Somali/Somaliland Diaspora in the UK.
Isha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Anthropology and Sociology from London Metropolitan University. She also holds a Master’s in Social Research Methods from the University of Southampton and an MRes in Gender development from the University of Portsmouth.
Isha has published chapters in the following papers:
